The Rectory now the Parish Centre is located behind St Andrews Church in Elrington Street Braidwood. It provides
excellent accommodation for offices, meeting rooms for small groups and emergency bedrooms for staff and the wider community.
The Garlic Garden
The Organic Garden Growers of Braidwood have planted garlic
on a church block next to the Parish Centre. A service of Blessing of the Garlic was held after the planting and
in November 2015 a Thanksgiving Service was held prior to harvest. Some garlic and other vegetable have been planted
this year and will be blessed at a service during May.
House of Prayer and Prayer Ministry
The House of Prayer is in the Parish
centre on the 1st Thursday of each month from 12-30 to 2-30pm.
Anyone who wish to join
in the general prayer time are more than welcome. There is also an opportunity for personal prayer after communion and after
services at all centres.
The Order of Service at the Family Service held on the 3rd Sunday at 9-00am
in St Andrews is on a card and is easy to follow. Every second month we celebrate a simplified form of Holy Communion
with Children being an integral part of the service.
(Fellowship in Someone's Home) is a fellowship group for teenagers to 72 year olds. The program consists of a shared
meal, times of worship, teaching, prayer and discussion. Fish meets on the 4th Friday of each month at 6-00pm at the Parish
St Andrew's Organ.
The Organ is now completed and was rededicated by Bishop Stuart Robinson at a service on Saturday 24th April 2016
which was followed by a recital.
